We are always looking for new ways, new audiences, new techniques of communicating the History of Chittenden County and to make the topics and the people we study more inclusive and the information we uncover of greater interest and relevance to all of our residents.
Our members love history, but most of all, they love where they live and take great pleasure knowing how the land and its peoples have changed over time, how life has been shaped by human policies and technologies, and how men and women have both thrived and struggled in making the Greater Champlain Valley their home.

Memberships start as low as $10 per year.

1. Fill out and submit this quick electronic form.
2. Select "Membership Type" from the menu below and then click "Add to Cart" to submit payment.
3. When purchasing a Gift Membership be sure to include the gift recipient's name, address and email in the electronic membership form. Click here to access the membership form.
- Funding local research by student, lay, and professional historians,
- Producing Free Events held 4-5 times a year throughout the County and featuring a wide-range of topics and activities, and
- Creating and publishing The CCHS Bulletin published 4 times a year and mailed to members.
